Sarahah : personality developer or mental torture?

As usual, I woke up late in the morning but shove my laziness to turn on my mobile data. then, What the heck? My WhatsApp homepage was full of texts from my friends and their status displayed with a bluish background and bold texts. I thought either the stock market dropped or Modiji bombarded a new scheme. With my drowsy eyes, I could see something written about Sahara or something. After freshening up I found it’s Sarahah.com, I felt that might be a website developed by friend “Sara”. Later I became aware that OMG that’s an app getting popular overnight while I was sleeping.

That’s not true guys it’s being developed since June this year.

After using it for a while and getting feedback from my friends I started discovering and found some interesting facts about the relation of the messages that people received and their mental status.

Well, I don’t need to introduce the app and its characteristics. I would like to express my honest reviews of people around me and me too.

You’re gonna get many comments, either positive or negative that are cent percent based on your past activities which are wiped out from your memory but is deeply rooted in the sender’s mind. You may get a reply about your cute smile or rotten teeth, silky hairs or foul odor, attractive or irritating behavior, masculine figure or a skinny loser, sweet voice or pheku saale(“get lost”). You may get any of the types of different people or may be the most controversial one “why are you gay? Ilaaj Kyun Nahin Kara lete is bimari ka.(“why don’t you find a cure”). This type of racial comments affects the reader. And yes, the people belonging to the Third gender are also humans. They also form an integral part of mankind.

Stimuli and respective responses of Sarahah :-

1.(Good-good)Anonymous messaging is a good way to express your positive feelings to your friends and crush. When you receive feedback in favor of you, it is obvious you will get encouraged to keep doing good work and helping others out. You are more cautious about your future actions and decisions

2. (Good-bad) When you are praised for your beauty, handsomeness and your followers this will boost your confidence to another level of overconfidence which is not good for you too. You may find yourself in the seventh sky looking everyone under your feet which is again problematic. This may hamper your behavior towards people.

3. (Bad-good)When you receive a negative feedback, it will make you more cautious of your actions. You won’t behave roughly as before, will take decisions in favor of what is right, will get knowledge of what to do and what not to do.

4. (Bad-bad)When you receive a negative feedback, but you aren’t strong enough to handle, then you are not under your control. Even if you are mentally strong you will definitely get disturbed from their messages. This will always remind you of your past and will degrade your confidence. This will always remind you of your past and will lower your confidence. There will be people with crab mentality pulling you down, commenting even if you are doing good stuff.

Guys and girls, you need to treat this as part of the fun and not serious.

We had organized an audience poll on twitter yesterday and heartfelt thanks to ALL those who participated. This is the outcome of the poll.

      hi.. dear,
you are right from one point of view which is supported by a mass
but when you look at the positive aspects of anonymous messaging and message receiving, you get a chance to improvise yourself
this might be a waste of time now but when you think of it for a long term situation then you are absolutely benefited
you are getting a chance to rectify yourself. you may not know who is the person taunting you or scolding you and you cannot say sorry to everyone with whom you might have misbehaved or cheated like in the movie “hey baby”, but you can stop doing certain actions after you receive these messages.
