While the government is facing a lot of challenges in introducing EV or electric vehicles in the Indian market. A report from Deloitte one of the largest accounting organizations reveals that E-rickshaws have proved themselves as “LOW HANGING FRUIT” for Ev adoption in India. It says that the government should initially emphasize on introducing EV in public transport and also support it by providing subsidies on life-cycle cost of E-rickshaws.

And in the meantime, the E-rickshaw becomes a convenient medium of transport in urban areas. Due to its low expenses, the owner is trying to build a better livelihood for his family. And these E-three wheelers can replace the engine propelled rickshaws in Indian roads.
The report also says that the targets for Evs can be approached with E-rickshaws which can realize the people about the different benefits and a unique experience of EV which is an optimal solution for checking the pollution of Indian cities.
